Acupuncture in Raymond

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a complete medical system, originating in China, that has been developing for over 5,000 years. Traditional Chinese Medicine treats the body as a whole, and promotes a patient's overall wellness, while simultaneously relieving the patient's complaint(s). The type of traditional Chinese medicine that I practice has been around for 2,000 years. There are five spokes to traditional Chinese medicine which are acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese medical message), nutrition, herbal therapy, and Qi Gong(internal martial arts).  Acupuncture has been increasing in popularity since the New York Times reporter James Reston went to China to cover President Nixon’s trip in 1971. With acupuncture being written about in the New York Times, it started introducing americans to acupuncture. Since the 1970’s acupuncture has continued to grow in popularity.
